This contract applies to all cats/kittens sold on the active register .

Conditions of sale
The cat/kitten described above is registered with TICA / Not registered with TICA and is being sold on the active register with
breeding rights.

Where the cat/kitten is being sold for export, associated veterinary and transport costs will be additional to the agreed sale price and are to be paid by the Purchaser(s).
The cat/kitten shall never be sold, leased, co-owned or given on to anyone else on the active register for breeding purposes. If this condition is ignored and the cat/kitten is transferred to anyone without first having been spayed/neutered, a penalty payment of £.......................... will be paid to the Vendor by the above named
Purchaser(s).
The cat/kitten shall not be sold, leased, given or donated to a pet shop or research establishment.
The cat/kitten shall not be taken from the Purchaser’s country of residence without the Vendors prior consent.
The cat/kitten may never take part in clinical trials without the Vendors prior consent.
In the event of the cat/kitten being infertile. No cash refunds are given.
The Vendor cannot guarantee the reproductive success of a female cat/kitten sold on the active register if a proven male does not reside on the premises.
The Vendor cannot guarantee a female cat/kitten sold on the active register against pyometra.
In the event of a fertility/health issue arising after the cat/kitten has produced live kittens (that have been sold, gifted, traded or retained for the Purchaser’s breeding program); no replacements of any kind will be given.
In the event of the cat/kitten dying from a congenital defect. No cash refunds are given.
The Vendor cannot guarantee the cat/kitten success in show.
The Vendor takes no responsibility for cosmetic changes to the cat/kittens appearance that may occur as the cat/kitten matures.
The cat/kitten is guaranteed in good health and has been examined by a Veterinarian prior to leaving us. The cat/kitten has been fully inoculated, microchipped, treated for parasites.
The Purchaser(s) is advised to have the cat/kitten inspected by their own Veterinarian within seventy two hours of leaving the Vendor‘s premises. Purchaser(s) can return the cat/kitten if something is wrong with the cat/kitten, purchaser(s) full refund with proof form the veterinarian. Once this period of time has elapsed, the above health guarantee is no longer valid. The validity is also reliant on the cat/kitten being kept indoors only and out of contact with other animals.
The cat/kitten must live as an indoor cat only and must not be allowed to roam freely outdoors. The cat/kitten may only have access to the outdoors via a suitable and safe enclosure or by the accompaniment of the Purchaser(s) with the use of a lead/harness.
The Purchaser(s) is advised to continue or seek new insurance. The Vendor takes no responsibility for any veterinary bills incurred once the cat/kitten is in the care of the Purchaser(s).
Once in the care of the Purchaser(s), the cat/kitten must always be kept in an appropriate condition for its health and welfare.
Once in the care of the Purchaser(s), the cat/kitten must always be fed a suitable diet for its age and condition.
Once in the care of the Purchaser(s), the cat/kitten must always receive yearly booster vaccinations from a Veterinarian.
Once in the care of the Purchaser(s), the cat/kitten must always receive all necessary veterinary care to maintain its good health.
Once in the care of the Purchaser(s), the cat/kitten must always have access to fresh water and a clean litter tray at all times.
Once in the care of the Purchaser(s), the cat/kitten must always receive love and companionship.
In the event of the Purchaser(s) being unable to maintain the cat/kitten, the Vendor shall be informed and shall reserve the right to repossess the cat/kitten at any age.
In the event of the Purchaser(s) ceasing breeding, the Vendor must be informed and the cat/kitten must be offered back to the Vendor first.
If there is a failure to keep any part of this contract, or if the cat/kitten is neglected, maltreated or is failing to receive adequate medical care, the Purchaser(s) will surrender said kitten to the Vendor unconditionally and without financial restitution or compensation.
In signing this document, the Purchaser(s) acknowledges that he/she has read, understands and agrees to all of the above conditions of sale.
The Transfer of Ownership document will be supplied upon receipt of a signed copy of this document and the relevant payment.
